Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

“We” / “Us” / “Our” refers to Specs123, “You” / “Yours” refers to the Customer
By submitting your order you confirm:
You are aged 16 or over
You are not registered blind or partially sighted;
You are in possession of a written prescription for your spectacles that has been given to you by a Registered Optometrist / Ophthalmic Optician in the last 24 months (or 12 months if you are aged 70 or over);
You will supply accurate details of your current prescription (including any notes on the prescription) when requested.
Orders to Specs123 must be submitted either via the web at www.specs123.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 772 0579.
Submission of an order represents an offer to purchase Goods from Specs123, we may confirm receipt of this order via email (if the Order is placed via specs123.co.uk) or verbally (if the Order is placed via telephone).
If you need to make any changes to an Order, your prescription, or your order details, you must notify us within 24 hours of the Order being placed. If changes are made after this time a charge may be applied.If cancellations are requested after 24 hours of the Order being placed charges may apply for the tailor-made lenses.
3. Limitations of Supply
we cannot always guarantee the availability of Goods as set out on our site. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if the Goods you have ordered are not available and we will not process your Order if made. If you have already paid for the Goods, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.
We will make a reasonable effort to ensure that all Orders are fulfilled; however we cannot always guarantee the availability of Goods.
If the Goods you have ordered are unavailable, we will inform you by email or telephone to give you a choice to receive an alternative or a refund. If we are unable to contact you, your Order will be cancelled and you will be given a full refund.
On the advice of our Dispensing Opticians, we have absolute discretion as to whether or not to accept your Order.
If considered necessary or appropriate before an Order is accepted, Specs123 have complete discretion:
to request that you send us a copy of your written prescription;
to contact directly, or request that you contact, the optician who provided your prescription to verify and/or discuss your prescription;
to request that you obtain your pupillary distance measurement from your optician; or
request that you obtain a new written prescription from your optician.
4. Pricesand Payment
We only currently accept British pounds (GBP)
Prices stated are inclusive of any Value Added Tax (VAT).
We cannot always guarantee that we will not make a mistake and misprice an item inadvertently. If this is the case, the Optician reviewing and authorising your Order will notify you of the error before your payment is processed. You will have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your Order.
Where we are providing Goods to you, you must make payment for Goods in advance by credit or debit card.
- The timescales for delivery and charges will vary depending on the availability of Goods. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure your Goods are dispatched to you as quickly as possible after placing your order.
- You will be notified by email at the time your Goods are dispatched.
- Delivery of the Goods will be made to the address provided by you at the time you placed your Order.
- If your Goods are not delivered safely within 2 weeks of dispatch notification, you should contact us.
- Customers should promptly inspect goods delivered to them to satisfy themselves that any goods delivered to them are as expected.
- In the case of non delivery, if either Specs123 or our Delivery Service Provider is at fault, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or re-delivery.
- You own the Goods once we have received payment in full.

7. Specs123 –Reglaze Service
Reglazing can involve some risk to the frames, as the quality and condition of yourfrane cannot be guaranteed prior to reglazing. Should the frame bedeemed unfit for reglazing, Specs123 will contact you and any payment will be refunded.
In the unlikely event any damage is caused during reglazing, We will offer you one replacement frame from the Premium Collection, glazed with the lenses originally ordered.
The fitting of new lenses may affect the original fit of the frame. We are unable to offer frame adjustments to frames not supplied by Specs123.
Specs123 cannot guarantee to return original lenses if broken or damaged during production.
Specs123 will not accept liability in the unlikely event that a customer's own frame is lost in the post. Sending a frame for reglaze, is at the customers own risk. We recommend you use a tracked postal service.
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after date of delivery. If we have already shipped your order, you will need to package the items and send them back to us with their original contents to the address below:

If we don’t receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that order as soon as possible, and in any case within 30 days after we receive your notification.
Any custom-made items such as prescription lenses, tints, or lens addons must be cancelled within 24 hours of the Order being placed.
